Capital C: Start a little below the top line on the right. Curve up to the top line and back down around the left side to the baseline. Swing up to join the next letter. Lowercase c: Start at the baseline and curve up to the midline. Make a small hook at the top, then curve back to the left, down around the baseline, and swing up.

Tip: Keep the hook at the top small and do not close the c, or it will look like an a.

Joining: Lowercase c ends at the baseline with a swing up. To join into c, curve up to the midline and make the small hook before you come down.
