Cursive Z z
Capital Z: Start just below the top line on the left. Curve over to the right and back in to the midline. Curve out to the right, down past the baseline, loop to the left, and come back up to join the next letter. Lowercase z: Start at the baseline and curve up and over at the midline. Slant down to the baseline and make a small dip. Curve down below the baseline, loop to the left, and come back up to the baseline.

Stroke order
Tip: Cursive z has a loop below the baseline, so it looks very different from print z. Take it slowly the first few times.
Joining: Lowercase z ends with the swing up from its bottom loop, crossing at the baseline. To join into z, curve up and over at the midline, the same way n begins.
